Meet Aly – Founder & Lead Trainer
Hi, I'm Aly- the proud founder of Grace Unleashed Dog Training, named in honor of the dog who started it all.
As a teenager, I had a dog named Grace. She was aggressive, and for a long time, I felt overwhelmed and unsure of how to help her. But rather than giving up, I leaned in—I read, I researched, I listened, I learned. Grace became my first teacher in the world of dog behavior, and even though our journey wasn’t easy, it was the one that sparked my passion for understanding dogs.
Grace is the reason I fell in love with dog training, and she continues to inspire the work I do every day. That’s why I named my company after her—as a reminder of where it all began, and as a tribute to the dog who changed everything for me.
Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to learning about dogs—not just how they behave, but why they behave the way they do. I’m endlessly fascinated by both their genetics and the impact of their environment and learned experiences.
Over the years, I’ve worked in animal shelters and professional training facilities, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments.
I’ve taught everything from:
- Puppy Preschool – building strong foundations early
- Group Obedience Classes – teaching skills in a fun, social setting
- Trick Classes – adding a little extra joy to training
- Private Lessons & Behavior Consultations – solving unique challenges with personalized support
- Board & Train Programs – immersive experiences for long-lasting change
Every dog has their own story, and I’ve been privileged to be part of so many of them. My mission is to help people and their dogs better understand each other—building relationships based on trust, communication, and compassion.
